Pricing & purchase

How much does it cost? +

$1.99 a month, or $19.99 once for lifetime access. Both unlock the whole app. No trial dark patterns.

Is there a free trial? +

No. Two honest prices. The App Store lets you refund within 14 days if you don't like it.

What if I subscribe monthly and later want lifetime? +

Cancel the subscription, then buy Lifetime from the Unlock screen. Restore Purchases picks it up on any Apple device signed into the same Apple ID.

Are there in-app purchases beyond these two? +

No. Nothing else to buy inside the app.

The app

What platforms does Maxtopia run on? +

iPhone (iOS 17+) and Apple Watch (watchOS 10+). The Watch app is standalone — you can log a full session with your phone in your bag.

How many exercises and programs are built in? +

800+ exercises across barbell, dumbbell, machine, cable, kettlebell, and bodyweight. 127 built-in program templates. You can also build your own from scratch.

Can I import my history from another app? +

Trainerize and TrueCoach program CSVs import on day one. Full training history import is on the roadmap — email support if you have a specific format.

Does it work without a signal? +

Yes. Everything runs on-device: the exercise library, your programs, rest timers, plate math. No account required to lift.

Data and privacy

Where does my data live? +

On your device first. iCloud sync (opt-in) uses your own iCloud account. We do not run a server that stores your training history.

Can I export everything? +

Yes. Settings → Data → Export ships a portable .maxtopia file with your training history. The format is CC0-licensed and documented publicly, so any other app can support it.

Do you sell my data? +

No. The app has no third-party analytics SDKs and no ad network integrations. There is nothing to sell.

HealthKit — what does it read and write? +

Only what you turn on. Workout summaries write to Apple Health so your Fitness rings reflect training. Heart rate and HRV read for context. Nothing leaves the device.

Still curious?

The docs go deep. Support is a real human. Both work.
