Privacy

An accurate policy — not a template. Here's exactly what the app stores, where, and what it doesn't.

Maxtopia is an iOS app. Your training data lives on your device by default. There is no Maxtopia server that holds your training history.

What's on your device

  • Your training: every workout, exercise, and set you log, plus every program you build or adopt. Stored locally in SwiftData.
  • Settings: preferences, unit choices, rest timer defaults, plate math config.
  • HealthKit data you grant access to (heart rate, HRV, workout summaries). Stays in Apple Health; the app reads only what you turn on.

What syncs (opt-in)

If you turn on iCloud sync in Settings → Data, a private copy of your training data is stored in your iCloud account (CloudKit private database). Apple hosts it under your Apple ID. Maxtopia has no access to it.

What the App Store handles

  • Purchase / subscription state: Apple tells the app whether Monthly or Lifetime is active. The app never sees your card or Apple ID email.
  • Refunds: handled through Apple, per their standard 14-day window.

What Maxtopia doesn't collect

  • Your name, email, address, or phone number.
  • Advertising identifiers, fingerprints, or third-party tracking SDKs.
  • Analytics on how you use the app. No product telemetry, no session recording.
  • Crash logs are handled by Apple's App Store Connect and only shared with the developer in aggregate.

Your rights

  • Export: Settings → Data → Export produces a portable, CC0-licensed .maxtopia file with your training history.
  • Delete: uninstall the app and any local data is gone. If iCloud sync was on, Settings → Data → Delete iCloud data purges the copy in your iCloud account.
  • Portability: the .maxtopia format is public. Any app can read it.

Age

The app is rated for ages 4+ on the App Store, with no user-generated content that would push that higher. Nothing in the app requires an account or personal information.

This website

maxtopia.app uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and doesn't retain raw IP addresses. It gives aggregate counts only. No Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no advertising tracker on this site.
